Clinical Massage
Clinical Massage is a combination of soft-tissue massage,
Structural Integration, PNF Stretching and Myofascial Release.
This treatment addresses tissue pain, old injury, and postural
alignment. Our therapists will first examine and feel the
effected areas to determine what type of techniques will best
help the problem. The results will be a more balanced body.
Corrections will be made to the connective tissue of the muscles,
tendons, ligaments and fascia. Stretching is used to increase
range of motion and open joint capsules. Therapeutic exercise
will be taught to strengthen weak areas and help poor posture.
Sequences for specific conditions are available ex: Neck Pain & Migraine Headaches, TM (Jaw Pain), Frozen Shoulder, Carpal Tunnel
syndrome, low back pain, Rotator cuff injuries/tears, Spinal
misalignments (Scoliosis, Hypnosis, Lord sis), Whiplash, sports
injuries, plantar facilities, tendonosis/tendonitis, Dowager’s
hump (Forward head posture), Tennis Elbow, Golfer’s Elbow,
Sciatic Pain, Shin Splints, Plantar Faciitis, Fibromyalgia,
Nerve impinchment, etc.

Medical Massage Therapy
Medical Massage therapy is a rehabilitative treatment for persons suffering from a diagnosed
medical condition. Persons wishing to receive a medical massage treatment must first acquire
a prescription from their doctor and have valid insurance coverage. Quick Spa is able to
accept insurance claims for the following types of
- Worker’s Comp Insurance Cases- Orthopedic injuries sustained during work (Carpal
Tunnel syndrome, low back pain, etc.)
- No-Fault Auto Accident Insurance cases- orthopedic injuries sustained during an
automobile accident (Whiplash, Post-accident Headaches, etc.)
- Personal Injury/ Third Party Billing- Orthopedic injuries sustained at a
commercial business, Alternative Care health plans, etc.

 Deep Tissue Massage
This massage focuses on releasing the deep tension of the body. Beginning with relaxing
Swedish massage strokes your therapist will use deep pressure to stretch tight areas, which
are over tense and restricted. Direct pressure will be applied to Trigger Point & Knots.
Once the tissue is relaxed and adhesions removed then the circulation will nourish the body
more effectively.

 Sports Massage
This is a clinical massage tailored for the competitive athlete or weekend warrior! Your
therapist will customize a treatment plan to help you deal with the negative effects of
physical conditioning. Our Sports Therapy is broken down into 4 categories;
- Training Massage- this treatment is received during your weekly training schedule.
Regular training massage can flush out waste products built up in the connective
tissue.
This enables the athlete to actively repair their body faster than simply resting in
between workouts. The reduction of tension will also keep the competitor injury free.
30-60mins.
- Pre-Event Massage- this treatment is used as a warm-up just prior to your
workout/competition. 15-20mins. Our therapists can travel to your event to help you
prepare for your competition.
- Post-Event Massage- This treatment is done immediately following the end of your
workout/competition. Post event massage will help flush out excess wastes from your body
and help your nervous system reset your body. The best way to end delayed onset muscle
soreness! 15-30mins
- Rehabilitative Massage- This clinical treatment will address problems areas acquired
during the sporting season. Regular treatments will keep the athletes body finely tuned
and prepared for the next competition. 60-120mins

 Cranial Sacral Therapy
Cranial Sacral therapy involves a special release of the cerebrospinal fluid by gently
manipulating the cranial bones of the skull, the spine and sacrum (tailbone). This treatment
is very gentle but effective for relief from head congestion, migraines, allergies, and
nervous system dysfunctions.

Zen Bodytherapy
Zentherapy is a system of 10 sessions, each addressing a different area of the body. Each session will integrate change, building from the work of the previous session. Each area of the body will be thoroughly worked and balanced with the rest of the body parts. Body functions will improve/restore as the body discovers easier movement with less effort, improved posture/alignment, and improved vitality.

Zen Bodytherapy is an integrated approach to reorganizing the body’s structure,
function and energy flow. The late William “Dub” Leigh founded Zentherapy after
studying and integrating Rolfing (Structural Integration), Moshe Feldenkrais
(Functional Integration) and zazen training with Tanoye Rotaishi. Dub was
additionally influence by Lauren Berry (Berry Corrective massage) and Raymond Nimmo
D.C. (Trigger Point Therapy).

Essential oils contain highly concentrated extracts of plants and herbs, which are known to
have remarkable therapeutic effects. Your therapist will perform a Swedish massage using
oils that are blended for a therapeutic purpose. Quick Spa offer’s special blended remedies
for pain relief, stress reduction, improved immunity, sports injuries as well as many
remedies for common conditions.

Aroma Facial & Scalp Massage
Facial expressions, chewing and speaking have left our face with excess amounts of tension!
This treatment begins with a hot towel compress of the face followed by a Swedish facial
massage with your choice of essential oil. Your scalp will be massaged with a dry shampoo
technique!

Aroma Foot Soak
Sooth your feet in a stone pot filled with heated pohaku (stones) and our house aroma blend
of Lavender, Rosemary and Peppermint oils. The effect of the oils relaxes the entire body and
reduces swelling of the feet.

Quick Chair Massage (Seated Acupoint massage)
Acupressure & Stretching is applied while in a seated position. A full routine may be
performed or a session of specific work may be preferred. A great treatment for head, neck
and shoulders.

Quick Massage (Dry Acupoint body massage)
Quick Spa’s original blend of Japanese Shiatsu, Chinese Tuina and western Sports Massage.
This is a dry massage performed over the clothes. By pressing tsubo (acupressure points) and
stretching the body’s energy channels, you may feel relief from aches and pains, common cold,
allergies and many other complaints. Quick Massage can improve digestion, reduce menstrual
cramps, strengthening the immune system and many more self-healing benefits!

Reflexology (Foot, hand & ear Acupoint massage)
This is an ancient massage method in which through stimulating reflex points on the feet,
hands and ears can have a therapeutic effect on the whole body. Egyptians and Chinese have
used this method to indirectly alleviate pain and help stimulate internal health. This
treatment begins with a special aroma foot soak to increase circulation and reduce swelling
in the feet.

Thai Shiatsu
A combination of Shiatsu & Thai massage. Hands, thumbs, elbows, knees and foot compression
are combined with yoga style stretching to balance internal energy and increase flexibility.
This treatment is performed on a floor mat and done over the clothes. This treatment can
reduce pain, increase energy flow, improve digestion, reduce menstrual cramps,
strengthening the immune system and many more self-healing benefits!

Fire Cupping Massage
Cupping is a form of Chinese medicine in which a glass cup is suctioned to the body, then
used to massage. Burning the oxygen from the cups and placing them on the body create a
vacuum affect which can relief tension, pains, stiffness, improve blood and chi flow, and can
be beneficial for respiritory and digestive ailments. Many Hollywood celebrities, such as
Gweneth Paltrow are enjoying the benefits of this healing method.
